Don't be shy.
I saw it over on Dinglebeery Lane..
"Bee Gees, stick an red hot iron rod through my head please."
Then you came here.
Do you want to talk about it?

Re: Hi Hades.
Tue, February 15, 2005 - 5:08 PMMuch obliged! I listened to some Grant Lee Buffalo and Faces to drive that evil from me head. I'm a lot better now!!! Listening to Devo at the moment.
Sometimes things sneak in, so it's good to have something like this to combat it!! Thanks! -

What are the qualities of the Bee Gees music that made you want to drive a poker through your head
and
How do you feel that Grant Lee Buffalo and the faces worked/were effective in purging the Bee Gees from your mind?
This could help more people than you could ever imagine.

Re: Hi Hades.
Tue, February 15, 2005 - 11:55 PMhehehehe!!!
From time immemorial, the Bee Gees have been the antithesis of all that was good in music to me. The falsettos that grate my very neurons, the cloying disco beats, the treacly and/or inane lyrics, the chest hair....
Grant Lee Buffalo and the Faces stand in emphatic contrast to this for me. That was what I immediately went to at the time, though there are others that I could have used to save myself. It's all a matter of preference, of course. Just find and have handy that which truly grooves you!!
